At Quality Car Covers we are proud suppliers of a number of Land Rover and Range Rover dealers accross the UK and Europe. We provide both indoor and outdoor custom car covers for all current models on the market including the latest Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Velar, Range Rover sport, Range Rover and the whole Land Rover Discovery family. We also have the patterns to make custom car covers for Land Rover Defender and all the classic models since its inception.

Before getting into our manufacturing process, we remind you that all our Bronze and Silver range are delivered within 5-10 days depending on stock avaialability at time of order. In terms of our Platinum range covers (made to measure car covers), we custom make this cover for each order. We are a family business, with limited resources but very focused on offering a quality product, so we prioritize quality over speed with the hope that our customers would not mind waiting a little longer for their car

It sounds like a lot of work. But done proactively and routinely, car care shouldn’t take more than an hour a week (plus the occasional faux pas). In the long run, you’ll enjoy a car that lasts longer, looks and drives better, and has a higher resale value. It’s well worth the effort.

Caring for Your Tyres

Car care for tyres starts with your routine maintenance. The same owner’s manual that states when fluid maintenance is due has a recommendation for tire rotations as well. It’s key to getting the full tread life out of each tire until its time to change them.
But tire manufacturers recommend replacing your tires every six years, regardless of tread depth. There’s even a ‘best before’ date molded into the sidewall. But your tires can become dangerous well before those six years are up, and before your tread is worn off, and it’s due to drying out and cracking.

As we’ve already mentioned, environmental effects take a serious toll on your vehicle’s longevity. Compare a well-cared-for vehicle with one that hasn’t seen a car wash in its life and it’s easy to see which one will likely hit the scrap heap first. Let’s look at what proper car care for your vehicle’s exterior looks like.

The salesman passes you the keys and shakes your hand. Once you’re in the driver’s seat and pull onto the street, you can’t help but beam with pride. It’s YOUR car. Clean, shiny, and perfect. For the first weeks, maybe months, you’re obsessive about keeping it showroom-fresh. No one eats or drinks in your car and the carwash owner knows you by name already.

Most campers are very fussy about their camping equipment. They take great care of their caravan/ motorhome, wash and store their camping accessories meticulously ... but what about their car? The sad fact is that very few are those who protect it appropriately.

Let’s take a quick look at the most common external aggressions for a car parked on a campsite:

The perfect car wintering and car storage accessory

While we are all at this time of the year enjoying our classics we propose you to think about the time when your car would need to be stored over winter. Preparing a vehicle for storage means it should start up first time when you turn the key next spring. We will be providing various tips over the next weeks and today we would like to focus on tyres.

Last month we have shared a fantastic day with the Lotus Seven Club members at the British Motor Museum. The event was to remember Graham Nearn, who was the saviour and developer of the Seven until his death in 2009. Therefore at appropriate points in time the club always remember Graham with a mass Blat (long fast drive) and assembly somewhere significant.

In 2019 – the 20th anniversary of Grahams passing - the club drove from all points of the UK to the British Motor Museum at Gaydon to celebrate his life. This has been the largest gathering of Sevens in the world since the 60th of the Seven in 2017. The event also celebrated 25 years of the Caterham 21 with a visit & lecture by the designer Jez Cotes. The club vigorously supports its adopted charity, Jackie Stewarts charity, Race Against Dementia (RAD).
